Our mission is to educate and empower Australia’s wildlife carers
We educate by offering diverse, accessible, and quality wildlife care training opportunities to Aussies of all ages.
We empower by welcoming carers into a grounded and compassionate community which understands their challenges and can support their journey.
All that we do is in honour and service of the Earth and its creatures.
Our vision is to create a village
We’re fundraising to buy land on Australia’s East Coast, and build a wildlife hospital, ecological school, food forest, and volunteer community.
Eventually, we’ll grow to include a plant-based cooking school, research facilities, and school camp accommodation.
Gaia will be a space where all are encouraged and supported to reconnect and live in harmony with nature.
Our goal is to raise $5 million by 2026, to buy land and build Gaia Village
Our Strategy
Our fundraising goal of $5 million will enable us to buy property on Australia’s east coast, build the hospital, learning centre, and permaculture farm, and power a passionate team to coordinate the Village.
To raise these funds while also fulfilling our mission, we are:
Providing educational workshops on wildlife care and ecological sustainability to schools and communities
Holding colourful fundraising events and market stalls
Selling wildlife-themed eco-friendly art and t-shirts
Welcoming generous donations from charitable businesses and individuals
